HOBBIES

Off the clock.

What I get up to when I'm not working. Every number on this page comes out of my own logs. The cube below is draggable.

RIDING

Ragnar, a Continental GT 650.

A Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 I've ridden since September 2024, logged at every fuel stop. 96 fill-ups in, it has drunk 832 litres and about 84,000 rupees of petrol. The odometer gave up around 16,300 km, so every mileage figure after that is guesswork. The best real tank I logged was 28 km/l.

SPEEDCUBING

Layer by layer, chasing sub-30.

I picked up a cube and never really put it down. It runs on the same loop as debugging: find the pattern, drill it until your hands know it without you, then try to take another second off. I'm still on the beginner method with a Cubelelo Drift 3M v3, working toward a sub-30 solve. Drag the cube to spin it.

THE GOAL
MARKETS

How fear and greed land in a price.

I follow the markets more closely than is probably healthy. What I like is working out how a piece of news and everyone's reaction to it end up as one number, then building small tools to check whether my hunches actually hold up.

that's what Trade Engine is for →
PHOTOGRAPHY

I shoot what I ride out to see.

Mostly landscapes and street, plus a long exposure when I have the patience for it. A lot of it is whatever I found at the end of a ride. Every photo in the gallery is one of mine.

ALSO ON THE LIST

A few more, briefly.

Cooking
I follow a recipe once, then start changing things. It usually turns out fine.
Quantum mechanics and computing
Bedtime reading about qubits and superposition. I understand maybe half of it.
Gym
Lifting most mornings, mostly to undo what a desk does to your back.
Bingewatching
Too many shows, too little sleep. Mostly sci-fi and thrillers.
