  • Led the move of all transactional and marketing email off SparkPost onto Braze, re-doing the templates, mapping the data, and validating delivery.
  • Built intent-based routing and fallbacks for the Eventbrite AI chatbot, which pushed CSAT up about 20% and cut manual escalations.
  • Designed the Event Sales Status service for timed-entry events (data model, API contract, async event-driven design), projected to lift order conversion 4 to 6%.
  • Mentored three to four backend engineers through design reviews and onboarding.

Software Engineer II, Full Stack

Owned the organizer-facing services, their performance, and the experiments that ran on them.

  • Took Cumulative Layout Shift on the Organizer Profile page from 0.6 down to 0.15, across millions of sessions.
  • Built the Organizer Feedback backend (SQS ingestion, aggregation queues, an API layer), projected to lift order conversion about 20%.
  • Shipped trust-signal features and A/B variants that added about 14,000 orders a month, a statistically significant lift.
  • Rewrote the AWS Glue ETL jobs (partition pruning, DPU right-sizing) and cut compute cost about 50%.
  • Ran on-call for the Organizer service and drove weekly PagerDuty incidents from 40 to 50 down to nearly zero.

  • Built a platform-wide A/B testing service: multi-variant config and user bucketing across millions of active sessions.
  • Led an ML-assisted resume parser that pulled structured data out of resumes, cut form-fill time 25%, and ran back across more than 100 million existing profiles.
  • Stored and served resumes on Azure and S3.
